The first Sunday School and services were held at Nampa Friends Church, Nampa, Idaho, in late 1934. The monthly meeting was organized in June 1935, with 33 charter members. The first pastors were Edward Harmon and Paul and Wilma Mills. A church building was bought in 1935, but another had been erected by 1952. Summary
Woodland (Idaho) Quakers first began a meeting in 1900 with Benjamin White as pastor, meeting in members' homes. Unfortunately, the meeting was laid down in 1920, but resumed in March of 1931, with Paul Mills and his wife as pastors. The Woodland Monthly Meeting was officially established on Sept. 11, 1933.
