Scope and Contents

The Knox collection contains a slide presentation about George Fox College done in the 1950s-1970s that has also been scanned onto a power point. Also contains a Cardtalk Gospel Recording an example of an electricity free record player that was used by missionaries in the field.

Summary North Valley Friends Church building, dedicated in 1972, combined two church congregation at the north Newberg, Oregon, site. A fire had destroyed the old Chehalem Center Friends Church building and the Springbrook congregations came alongside to form one newly named Friends Church. In 1986, Keith Lamm, a graduate of George Fox College, replaced Stan Perisho as pastor.
