Hadley, Norval
biographical statement
Norval Hadley was a 1949 graduate of Pacific College. He performed as first tenor of the well-known Four Flats Quartet, heard across the country in radio broadcasts and live performances. Hadley spent 15 years with World Vision International, beginning in 1956, in positions that led to service around the globe. In 1971, he was named the general superintendent of the Northwest Yearly Meeting of Friends, where he led diligently. Hadley and the rest of his Four Flats Quartet members were named Alumni of the Year in 1973. He also served as executive director of Evangelical Friends Mission.
