Historical note

Roy Dunnagan was involved in early work at Hayden Lake (Idaho) Friends Church. Meetings began in 1941, led by Reuben and Rayma Cogswell at Mountain View School. In 1943, property was deeded to Oregon Yearly Meeting and the construction of the church began. It was dedicated on September 1, 1946. Though the church closed for a short time in 1949-50, it resumed, and in 1967 the monthly meeting was established.
