Melba (Idaho) Friends Church began as an outpost group of Greenleaf Friends Church. It was officially organized in 1920 by the Boise Valley Quarterly Meeting in a former Nazarene Church. Nathan Swabb served as its first pastor. Another building was erected in 1972. The church celebrated its 75th anniversary in 1995.
