Summary
At the turn of the 20th century, Friends settled in southwest Idaho, naming their colony Greenleaf after the Quaker poet John Greenleaf Whittier and the first church building was constructed in 1908. Since 1908, Greenleaf Academy, started in the back of the church, has been closely tied with the church and continues in Christian education of K-12 students.
