Smith, George

Meadows Friends Church, located about ten miles from the Quaker Hill Camp in Idaho, began in the late 1940s in an abandoned church building owned by another denomination. George and Eleanor Smith were the pastors in 1952. Records include one Oregon Yearly Meeting Bulletin ("Your Friend").

Limited files exist for New Meadows Friends Church in central Idaho, but at one point George and Eleanor Smith pastored there. On July 1, 1975, the current pastor resigned, and members then decided to discontinue the meeting. Records include a bulletin and correspondence.
