biographical statement

Roger Minthorne, a 1947 graduate, is a longtime member of the Twin Rocks Board, the George Fox College/University Board, and is a current resident of Friendsview Retirement Community. He speaks at Newberg Historical Society meetings and volunteers in many capacities. He was formerly a board chair and honored by the school with its 1982 Alumnus of the Year award. The Minthorne Gallery on campus is named in his honor. Minthorne passed away in 2019.
