Northwest Yearly Meeting of Friends Church member and resident of Friendsview Retirement Community, Mr. Watson resided with his parents at Sprague River, Oregon, as a high school student. His long-time interaction with the area and with the Friends Church is evident in his presentation of documents and descriptions of the history of Sprague River which he has entitled: "My Sprague River Story".

Floyd Watson passed away on May 27, 2019.

Abstract

This collection includes Floyd Watson's written history detailing his involvement in Sprague River (Oregon) Friends Church and the surrounding community near Klamath Falls, Oregon. An excerpt from "The Modoc Indians: a Native American Saga" by Cheewa James and copies of photographs of the area are also included.
