HIstorical note
The work at Pringle began in 1944-45. Laura Trachsel pastored the South Salem (Oregon) Friends Church, whose young adult class helped Laura's sister Helen maintain a Sunday School in a grade school building. Leroy Johnson then offered a building in the neighborhood. Gordon St. George, after graduating from George Fox College, became the first pastor. Under Roger Smith, the meeting became an outpost in 1955, and a Preparative Meeting on March 5, 1958. A new sanctuary was dedicated in 1960. Pringle was established as a monthly meeting on Dec. 8, 1961.
