Abstract
Family bible from the Hobson and David families. Contains marriage records, birth records, and other family information from the late 19th century. Bible was printed in 1890 in Philadelphia by the A.J. Holman & Co. Also included are some family papers that were tucked inside the bible, including a letter referencing the liquor restrictions in the deed of the family home.
Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements
Binding is broken some pages are loose. Ink from images is beginning to form ghost images on reverse pages.
Custodial History
Donated by Nadine Dillon, great-great-granddaughter of William Hobson. Held by the family from the 1890s forward until the time of donation.
