Historical note

Woodland (Idaho) Quakers first began a meeting in 1900 with Benjamin White as pastor, meeting in members' homes. Unfortunately, the meeting was laid down in 1920, but resumed in March of 1931, with Paul Mills and his wife as pastors. The Woodland Monthly Meeting was officially established on Sept. 11, 1933. In 1937, trees were donated for a church, and the first meeting in the new structure was held on June 11, 1941.
