Content description
The collection is made up of research materials and sermons, writings, and editorials of Dr. Willcuts, correspondence, directories, materials relating to organizations of his affiliation such as minutes, directories, annual reports, financial records, bulletins, pamphlets, pastoral records. There is also a collection of marriage licenses and a genealogical report on the Willcuts family. Audio tapes of some of his sermons and talks are included in the collection. Information pertaining to Northwest Yearly Meeting administrative boards, councils, conferences, foundations; Friendsview Manor Retirement Center; Barclay Press; and local churches of the yearly meeting are included. Materials pertaining to Willcuts mission in Bolivia are in Spanish.

Biographical Note
Jack Willcuts (1922-1989), a graduate of Pacific College (now George Fox University), was a Quaker pastor, author, and leader in various Friends (Quaker) organizations, including Superintendent of Northwest Yearly Meeting of Friends Church from 1966-1971 and again from 1979-1986. He served a 3-year term as founder and president of the Evangelical Friends Alliance. He was active in international Quaker interests and an author or editor of several Quaker publications. He and his wife also served as missionaries in Bolivia from 1947-1951 and from 1954-1958. At the time of his death he was president of the Oregon Council on Alcoholic Problems. Willcuts Residence Hall on the George Fox College campus was named in his honor in 1990.
