Biographical Note
Wallace E. Jones, 1893-1980, lived in Newberg, Oregon. In this typed manuscript dated 1975, Mr. Jones depicts life in various facets of his early years under the following headings: social life, building, farm and farm work, fencing, harvesting, specialty crops, clearing land, school life, wages and cost. The booklet is also illustrated with drawings, providing a personal glimpse into the past.
