When the Free Methodist Church closed in 1969, Friends began using their building. Medford monthly meeting became the parent meeting for the Klamath Falls Friends Extension Church. Records include correspondence, reports, directories, and minutes.

Summary
Around 1890, Friends and Methodists began ministering to the Native Americans--the Modocs and Klamath Indians--of southeastern Oregon, as the latter were placed under their care by President Grant. Much later, from around 1945-1966, Evert Tuning played a large role in ministering to the Native Americans in Sprague River, Oregon.
