Historical note
Lynwood Friends Monthly Meeting was organized on Oct. 20, 1957. Construction of a church began in May of 1958. George Palmer preached the first sermon at the groundbreaking ceremony. The new church was dedicated on July 19, 1959. An educational unit was also dedicated on May 19, 1963.
