Scope and Contents

This collection consists of correspondence, diaries, published materials, sermons, newspaper clippings, passports, and photographs. The correspondence is primarily missions-related. The photographs and diaries cover missions, travel, adn family subject matter. One songbook is in Aymara, the language of the native Aymara people, and another is in Spanish.

Biographical / Historical

John H. (1898-1984) and Julia Hall Person (1900-1998) spent fifteen years conducting missions in Bolivia for Oregon Yearly Meeting of Friends Church. Mr. Pearson was later employed at Pacific College in Newberg, Oregon and was a member of the Gideons International.
